I ran that setup on my old speedster while I sorted out the 944 NA front brakes, wish I hadn't have bothered with the final step as it was better balanced with the bug discs up front. I'm guessing the speedster was more rear heavy though and I didn't ride the brakes too hard, fade on the front would be a problem relative to the rear if you drove it hard.

got mine on and the backs lock up before the fronts, but right now i have the super beetle master cylinder. 944 MC should be in the mail soon enough though
