Front rims too wide?
I have a set of turbo twists for my 69' beetle. I couldn't help thinking if 18" x 10" rims look good on the rear, why not the front? I currently have 18" x 7.5" for the front. Would it be worth buying a set of rear rims for the front. I am already planning on running 3" wider fenders in the front. Is it safe, harder to steer, Or just not a good idea. I do a lot of dumb things in my car and having the most rubber in contact with the road seems to make sense to me. Thanks for the help.

There's no need to go that wide in front. Too many clearance problems, too many steering problems, too much unsprung weight, too much rolling resistance, too much drag from adhesion, and too wide of spacers needed.
Your car would go slower, and handle MUCH worse. Yetibone

I kinda figured but I just had to ask, thanks. I still think it would look really good but your right it is not practical or needed. Thanks for the help.
