Alex's Type IV engine...

So, if someone was to buy Alex's engine and build it up what changes would you advise? Turbo? Swain Tech ceramic coating on piston crowns and heads/valves, exhaust system and turbo? It will be going in a 1200 pound (or less) Meyers Manx so engine size is pretty open. And yes I know wings would help... It will be a street/autocross car.

Jake I would truely appreciate your opinion.

Thanks,

Randy

Well Alex's set of 102mm Nickies most certainly could hold up to the boost, but the c/r was set up for N/A, so some shimming will need to be done to reduce the c/r, but hopefully not at the expense of running a tight deck.

Charles,

My end of the deal fell apart so I will not get the entire engine. This means I will be calling you in a few weeks about some P&C's.

Thanks,

Randy

Sounds good. I'll work out a deal on a set of 103s for you. Pistons cost me less in that configuration. BTW,i'm down to one set of p/cs out of this next run that are unsold, fyi.
