993 tt 18'' turbo twist
Need help from those who have 18x10 at the rear! I'm using 86 944t alu. arms with 993 c2 brakes and 40mm widen fender, will 18x10 et 65 fit without clearance problem? If the fenders too narrow, will go for ccc 3''. Appreciate your replies.

You might need a little wheel spacer to clear the suspension bolts. I have the same wheels and they just clear my spring plate bolts with the late aluminum arms. I think I may need fenders even wider than 3". I should know next week when my body goes back on the pan. Just to let you know my rear track is 66" with the turbo twists and the late arms.

I've got 18x10 et47 rears with a 930 turbo custom rear brake setup on stock IRS arms. The wheels JUST tuck into the fenders with reasonable camber (-1.5 deg). The brake setup increases the track over stock by 30mm and I've got 2" wider rear fenders.

bullet, be aware that on my standard, i could not get out to the 3" fender with early arms and 8.5ET48 rims without a 1.5" spacer. check the thread called "Why T181" (i think). i posted pics there. i ended up going with late arms. they are perfect with no spacer needed. i can't vouch for the rim to arm clearance obviously though.
