on superbeetlesonly.com there is a tech article about a "porsche eating" race super. check it out for aerodynamic tips. I also heard something about putting a small spoiler on the roof above the rear window.

You can find the article in the February 2004 issue of VW Trends.
Here are some specs.3.88 r/p with stock VW 1st and 2nd, 1.12 3rd and .85 4th. It had a 2840cc type 4 with 230 hp @ 6800 rpm.

I love it when these guys give their specs when they make such fantastic claims. It lets us know how much BS is flowing.
It takes over 330hp to go 150mph in a Bug. He's only got 230. In other words, if he had it geared right, he might be able to hit 130mph, on a good day. |
