VDO Gauge
Hi all. I dont have a VW any more but
 I will in the future  .right now I have a 91 MR2 N/A. I have a vdo oil PSI gauge. That Im putting in my 2. I want to pull the bulb and put some thing brighter in. But I dont now how. I dont want to brake it. Do I just pull it out? Thanks :agree:

If it is the small bulb holder you turn it then pull. In fact most of them turn 1/4 turn left or right then pull it out.

I tryed that and it didnt work. it only turns like an 1/8 at the most. I'll put up some pics.

Turn it as mentioned 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Thats a standard vdo aftermarket guage. you can get different colored incadesent bulbs or modify a LED w/ a resister. There is a whole thread about putting LEDs into guages.
