944 with different bolt pattern?
Hi!
I would like to know if I can make something to my problem: I want to install 944 brakes in front but I want to keep my 4*100 bolt pattern too. Is there any way to do that or it's just impossible? Thanks |

Hi
I don't think you can do it unless you use a specially made billet hub, I think Vee Dub Engineering does these. The 944 front hubs are cast with provision for the stock wheel bolts only. Steve

take a old vw disk and machine the braking surface off, use this as a hub use a 944 disk but get it drilled for vw 4 stud pattern mount hub and disk to car, caliper bracket and 944 caliper you should have 944 brakes in vw 4 stud pattern, or, im talking crap? mabbo |

Hi Mabbo
That's what I did with brakes, only I used a Porsche pattern Beetle rotor. Steve

hey steve,
they look really good... but i want to keep 4 stud vw pattern... do you think its possible to re-dril the porker rotor in vw pattern to work with studs on the vw disk/drum (hub)? mabbo |
