We are getting there Alex. No doubt some more minor modifications and it will fit. Some of my issues have come from a replacement framehead
To finish off I think it needs moving further to the left hand side of the car, perhaps 25mm or so, then the plate that holds the tie rods will have to be extended by the same length (as per Mark Huebbe). The UJ for the steering won't be an issue, just that the fuel tank may have to be clearanced a little. |

Ok, keep me posted. I do not longer have beam suspension, so i can not test fit any of these to my car.
I'll do similar modifications to the RHD bracket what aircured wanted from me. |

There isn't a RHD bolt on kit and there is substantial difference between the RHD and LHD suspension and steering. Have you ever wondered why the steering wheel and the centre of the seat in a RHD aren't in line? Unless you want to make your own I would suggest sticking with a steering box. I'm really no closer to bring finished as I haven't had the time to commit to sorting out the mounting despite how long I've had it.

Mr Big I have an -Alex- RHD kit that I am looking to sell.
As "al kaholik" said, it is not a bolt on kit, it will require some fettling. I have the kit plus a vw polo steering rack. Only selling due to illness, I no longer have the ability to work on my beetle. I am looking to get back what I paid for it... If your interested PM me.
