Caster adjustment

Is there a supplier that makes a top strut mount for '74 and later superbeetles (1303) that has slots for and aft to give more or less caster?
I rather not grind or file on the body where the strut mounts rest...

On the bug I already have the caster-plus bushings for the swaybar (Topline), but I really want an adjustable top strut caster mount (mainly for my 412 as it has the same top strut mounts as a late superbeetle )

Thanks,
Walter

Hi

Had a Whiteline sway bar on my car that had threaded ends so that caster could be adjusted at the bottom of the strut. I've seen on other makes of cars adjustable sections for the sway bar mounting on the chassis.

Thanks for the suggestion Rob!

@ Steve: I really only want to adjust caster on top of the strut, partly because of the fact that my 412 hasn't got any of the possibilities at the bottom of the strut mounts for carter adjustment like a 1303 has.

Any other suggestions (bolt-on, for sale) very welcome

Tnx,
Walter

That may be a neat solution (and not expensive). Curieus how 'universal' it would turn out to be
Tnx.

What are you saying Dirk?
Are they Remmele parts, offered by Boxer-shop? Price of these is quite steep indeed.
Coudn't find these parts on the remmele site...

I have send an email with the question of these also fit for later type 1303 cars with the 2-bolt (Golf) stuts as I recall there was a difference in the stut openings with the later type. Can't remember if the later openings were smaller or larger

Tnx,
Walter

Make your own wally. Will cost you I guess an 80-90 euro to cut, 20 euro for unibal, and an euro of 20 to press in the uniball.

Wiebrand

p.s. the ones that are posted can not be adjusted.
