fresh air?

what should be done with some fresh air?

See been thinking about an air dam and it looks like I can get some fresh air out of the deal, so...

I already have a DTM for my 2056, not really a huge cry for an ext cooler. But maybe good for heater or something. But, don't really know about running oil lines to the front of the car. Not to mention it would take a while for the car to heat up the extra oil that would fill the lines and the cooler. But, somthing would be better than nothing.

Or should I try to duct fresh air to the carbs?

use to cool brake rotors? Suggestions please?

thanks

the only problem i could think of would be an issue of lift at higher speeds . what i mean is an air dam is meant to redirect air so it passes over a specific area so making an air duct could cause the air to get under the car causing the car to have a tendancy to lift at higher speeds . if anyone can dispute this then i stand corrected

well I figured to try and make it a closed system, rather to closed the back side to expell the heated air somewhere, other than the just leting the air collect behind the cooler and causing lift.

actually was thinking tilting the cooler like this \\ so cool air hits it and forces the air upwards at 45' then cap the top off and send it via tubes to the defrost vents and heater channels.

But again I don't think it's nesicary. not to mention would still take some time

-before the engine warms up
-then heats to a temp inwhich the thermo would kick in
-then to circlate the extra volume would cool the engine down pretty quick
-then wait for the extra volume to heat up

so this would be great if high revs were kept or if a load was there, but not to great for heat. I don't know what I want to do with it.

thanks though any other ideas?
