Good to see the Doc's car is still out and around. I couldn't really justify air jacks on my car but the coolness factor there is so high.

I'd love to meet Armin and Wally at the track, 3 turbo bugs in one shot would be a hell of a thing to see and hear Sadly I'm on the wrong side of the pond

Great to see the Gerold car back on the track! That car is pure evil..although.I really liked the former aerodynamic front clip he had before better.Maybe just because it was different.

Read this article: Autospeed article
They say the New Beetle would benefit from a small spoiler on the top of the rear window, see:

The airflow stays attached to the rear of the car, which isn't good.
By placing a spoiler on the top of the rear window, the airflow can break free from the body. That way the airflow would describe more of a teardrop shape, which is the best aerodynamic shape.

It's a bit like what the german engineer Kamm discovered. He invented the "Kamm-tail".

Another example:

Hmm.....it might be the same car??
