944 with different bolt pattern?

Hi!

I would like to know if I can make something to my problem: I want to install 944 brakes in front but I want to keep my 4*100 bolt pattern too. Is there any way to do that or it's just impossible?

Thanks

Hi

I don't think you can do it unless you use a specially made billet hub, I think Vee Dub Engineering does these. The 944 front hubs are cast with provision for the stock wheel bolts only.

iv been thinking about doin this too but dont know if my idea would work

take a old vw disk and machine the braking surface off,
use this as a hub
use a 944 disk but get it drilled for vw 4 stud pattern
mount hub and disk to car,
caliper bracket and 944 caliper

you should have 944 brakes in vw 4 stud pattern, or, im talking crap?

Hi Mabbo

That's what I did with brakes, only I used a Porsche pattern Beetle rotor.
