Hi folks,
Does a Porsche 911/944 rear seat fit in a Bug ? I mean without cutting half of it ! Did somebody around already do it ? pics ? Thanks Serge aka Coxbow |

planned on doing both but bailed for other reasons (like non-reclining seats that the kids can't fit between. the 911 seats seem to offer more flexibility and are much lighter. i only planned on using the 944 back (which i already bought) as the bottom is molded and would be a bit difficult to get in a bug. the back's measurements are VERY close. custom mounts will need to be made and the metal tabs on the side need to be cut off. and then in MIGHT fit. we are talking mm here.

I’ve taken measurements in it seamed that the Porsche’s seats fit ok, 911 is even a little bit smaller…
But that’s only measurements, how could u say for example that a Jeep Cherokee rear seat would fit without mods ! I did it with my previous bug (front too, al in grey leather, looked very nice…) |
