Where to get 911 dash
Alright, I need to find a 911 style dash for my 1303, and I don't want to import it from overseas. Isn't there ANYONE who makes these in the USA? I keep hearing that Carbon Joe is planning on making one in carbon fiber, but I really just want one in fiberglass. The idea of picking out thousands little carbon needles after an accident leaves me cold.
C'mon, somebody has to be making these... |

What's nice about the molds I made for the 911 dash is that I can make them in fiberglass as well as carbon.

I think it looks just like the Kerscher 911 dash

it should look close to the kerscher dash, only Joe told me that hes making it a two piece dash (the upper section is split from the lower half, letiing some one have more options with it, like covering it in leather...ect, aswell as making it easier to manufacture).

that's the rumor...
I wake up in the midlle of the night in a cold sweat thinking about finding one in a big grassy feild only to find out it's made of breakfast cereal and pickle slices... What do ya suppose that means? Juat kidding..But I am anxious to see one/buy one/ install one1 =P |

should be fairly bolt on... only you would have to do all the mounting of the switches, guages...ect. am sure that it's going to be a blank canvas so you could set up the dash how you like.
I will give Joe a email and ask him when he thinks he will be done, he did assure me that he WILL have it done. (he better ) Jonathan

yeah thats cool but how would i get some of my stock switches install or what kind of other solutions can i look for the thing is im only 18 and im really into cars but I havent been in the sceen long enough to customize any parts and tools and other suplies can be costly not to mention all the money that goes into parts. I would only have to go to something that is direct bolt on maybe a cf dash is something I should worry about too soon but the stock dash needs to go maybe ill figure out some stuff and get my brain going. Thanks alot for the info guys its lots of help

so...you have a 1303 right?
If you want to do something simple just slap on one of those dash covers and do something creative with that..=)
If you don't have a 1303 then you probably have a lot of easy options and aplications...the 911 dash is to replace the big ol' bulky 1303 dash 73 and up supers ony... look around the forums...I've seen tons of stuff from other people on the site. good luck...hope that helps? |

Hey, Im only 19...
Anyways, it sould not be to hard to figure out how to mount the stock switches. Should just take a little creativity
