Street Eliminators?
Getting ready to put my 2275 together, and trying to decide on heads. Cam is web 86b. Question is whether to buy the cb cnc 044's or run a set of ported street eliminators that I already have.
My biggest concern is cooling, less fins on the eliminators. Will doghouse(all german w/working t.stat) and remote oil cooler be enough? No heat exchangers, but still w/undertins. Any experience with this kind of setup on the street would be appreciated, Trying to see if I have to buck up for the carbon fibre csp porsche kit $$$$ but |

I've had a set of SE heads on my engine (2110) for over ten years with no overheating problems what so ever. Last sunday it was 95 degrees here and my CR is just over 8.5 to 1, sure I have to run super but that's OK. I have an external oil cooler with a fan and all the stock cooling tin, even with the top down no problems.

if you want a fully streetable head that cools well and gives you gobs of airspeed and volume then go to aircooled.net on the web. the L6 head they have uses a CB 044 head that is ported and polished and polished chambers and the whole works for $800 a pair. i am getting the same engine you are with the 86B cam and you will make well over 200 horse with this setup. im only running 1.25 rockers but that cam also accepts 1.5 also. just make sure you have a tranny that will support all that power lol.
