IDF's are more streetable but there is stuff that can be done to IDA's to help(drill 3rd progression hole) IDA's use a piston as an accelerator pump, and i think IDF's use a diaphram. not sure on that one, though. Try shop talk forum and you should get more responses to this kind of question.
