paint colors? whats your opinion?
well im "getting" to the stage where i will start doing some of the body work on my 74 super and i have been debating what color to do for the paint.
The car now is black (stock was black to) and love to look of black cars becuase they just look sexy, but in the summer when i will be driving it most is not a good time for black. also black is a little bland and shows flaws in the body well... so i have been throwing around the idea of some blues, silvers yellows and greens (i love all those colors). so whats a good GL color that flows with a 1303? Heres a silver one that i just cant get over! |

what are your plans for interior colors, etc? or do those get dictated by your exterior color choice?

well, black leather porsche seats, matching home made door panels, and no back seat aswell as a carbon fiber dash... so it would go well with just about any i would think.

The current model Passats have a green -- I think it's called Fresco Green Metallic -- that I think would look awesome on a 1303 GLer. |

that green you speak of might be cool... my father works at Carrera motors (VW, AUDI, PORSCHE & BMW dealer) so i should be able to snatch up a paint option chart (or they might have on on the lot... not sure)
Porsche speed yellow was a option at one time... but a friends of ours has his 74 standard in speed yellow so i would be kind of tacky to do ours the same. you can see a pic of his car in the "general" photo gallery, its in the last page and has 993 wheels on it. ZEN, that silver looks nice... very technical and clean looking at the same time. whats it called? |

I've crashed every blue vehicle that I've ever owned. Go with the silver.
