Question about Flip it bump-steer kit

Have the great pleasure of calling TopLine this weekend to order alot of Front end parts for my 78 vert... List includes the following..

-Maxx struts.
-SS brake lines
-Strut Bar
-Urath. Bushings.
-7/8 Swaybar..

Bob, I think was awesome.. Best Customer Support I have encountered in a while.. My hats off to these guys..
Also picked up some Powerstop Rotors and Hawk pads for my front 944 conversion.. to finish my collection of front end parts for the conversion.. Still need some misc stuff..
I forgot to buy the bump steer kit.. Is it needed with this conversions.. What are the pros and Cons.. Safety issues.. What is need when I get it.. Believe I read something about Machining.. Please help.. Hopefully my order hasn't gone out yet..
Thanks
Loaf

When I got my Maxx Struts from Topline the Bump Steer kit came with it, so you should be alright. Its as very well thought out kit.

I also got the bump steer kit with my Maxx's.The kit allows the tie-rod end's to be "flipped" upside down on the underside of the splindle. The only "machining" you have to do is drill the hole on the spindle to a larger size.If you have access to a drill press with a vice then you're all set. Pretty straight foreward and most all Topline stuff comes with a good set of directions.
