Are 914 gauges same connections as a IV?

Ok as you know I have a 1977 transporter with a 2.0 L type IV, I was looking into installing all new guages and fabbing a plate out of aluminum. I like the 914 gauges but I am curious, Will they work with no modification as far as wiring is concerned? I guess this really will probably only apply to the fuel and speedo gauge, but since so may people have IV power Im sure you guys would know.

My fuel gage is off, runs empty between 1/2 and 1/4. I fill up at 1/2. I did see someone replace the indicator inside the Porsche case with a VW indicator using some epoxy.
