1303 cupkever

Hello, i'm Roel from Belgium!
Start this year with a new project!
The build of an 1303 cupbug!
The plans..
Brakes: Porsche 944 turbo front and rear!
Gearbox: 915 porsche!
Suspension: Remmele at the front and rear with uniball
Engine: 1ste my "old" 2.4 type 4 engine and in the future the 2.7 type 4 from Udo becker
Body: Lots of polyester parts, the hoods, doors and cupfenders..
Steering: rack and pinion from porsche

This was my old project, sold the bug without the engine!

Scat 80mm crank

Pauter rods

Home made Udo becker heads

Pauter rockers

Udo Becker drusump pomp

I keep trying to figure out if I like that rear engine hood or not, but one thing is certain: if I had one I'd use it on the bug :P

the rear engine hood (porschespoiler) that was on the car when i bought him..
I'm not gonna use that i'm gonne use one in polyester!

Sold my purple beetle..

New one..

Bad dash didn't saw it whem bought it, (plastic dash was installed)




Th dash isn't finished, need a bit of lead loading..

Excellent project, mine is in similar stage. Making bodywork currently and getting suspension and parts for 2,8 litre T1 based engine.

I have too remmele uniball rear suspension. Allthough i will use QA1 adjustable shocks and springs at all corners (mendeola front)
