cookies on a long axel swing bug with early 944 rear disks/calipers

hello guys... my 1st post on here

i have a 68 swing axel bug with long axels. i plan to fit a 944 early single slider brake set up to the back, which iv found will increase the track by about 24mm.

i really dont care what wheels i have as long as they are cheap, and fit under the arches... id prefer 15" but would go 16, dont what anythin bigger..... after doing a bit of reading/asking around i think 15x6 cookie cutters with an offset ov 36mm would probrally be my best bet.

would these stick out from the arches? i want the wheels to tuck right under. at the moment i have 4 stud mahles on there with standard drums out the back, and they fit under the arches nice with 205 tyres... i want the same sort of positioning....

any other wheels that would suit my needs better? would some 16" fuchs or design 90s be better?

thanks,
mabbo
