porsche transmission into bus

I'm working on a 75 camper van that I want to put a 5 speed into, and have a buggy guy hounding me for my trans anyway, so I'm thinking about dumping the stock vw trans, and using a porsche trans instead. I don't know too much about the swap except for that if it can be done to a bug, it can be done to a bus.

any info would be appreciated

Check out this site. The guy is in the process of installing a 915 and a 2.7 liter in his Bus.
