Kendy,

Welcome to Germanlook...

To answer your question, the best thing for you would be to do some preliminary research on the subject.

There are a lot of posts on the subject of brakes, spindles, suspension, ball joints etc. with regard to the 944 swap.

Once you get a good handle, then you can ask some pointed questions regarding to any issues or challenges you may have.

Check the suspension and brake sub-forums. Those posts have served as a the back bone for a lot of us, and have made it easier for new comers to learn quick.

Take care
Alex

Kendy,

Leniuszku - wystarczy poczytac troche forum o hamulcach

Hi Kendy

I have the same rear end in my 1303. It fits OK but you will need to clearance the chassis at the rear of the spring plate.

The front is a little harder, your 1302 uses what's called "3 bolt struts" you can convert your car to the later "2 bolt struts" and fit 944 stub axles. In my opinion your better adapting 944 brakes to your existing struts, talk to http://www.vdubengineering.com for more info and prices.

Try doing a search for 944 under suspension and you will find more information with photos.

Steve
