My alternative

Not HID, but something similar. I got these 7' sealed beam replacement projector headlights with a halo ring for AU$150 a pair. I think they use a H$ bulb. They will fit into a standard US Spec headlight housing:-

Looks like you've got the gas cooker on around your light
