914 Flywheel resurfacing

I'm ready to start on my 914 5-speed install and I have a question on flywheel resurfacing .... the 914 fly/pp that I have looks like it needs refreshing so is this a standard procedure, or are there any steps I should ask the machinist to perform ? I'm using a new 914 OEM clutch from pelicanparts.com.

I'm not interested at this point in lightening the fly.

Thanks for any comments.

What ever he takes off the disc surface(ie. .005), he needs to take from the bolt on surface too so the disc surface does not become deeper set into the flywheel.

Makes sense. I weighed my flywheel last night ... 16.5lbs, I thought 914 flywheels were lighter than that.
