Did you check for 12 volts on the + post of the coil? If you don't have 12 volts at the coil try twisting the fuses or cleaning the fues holders in the fues block, some times they get oxidized and loose their connection. If this doesn't work "T" off your left rear running light to the + side of the coil and turn the lights on to get it going. If it runs then, you might need a new ign. switch.

make sure you connect up the pertronix unit the correct way round or you will damage it and have to by another , the coil sounds like a blown fuse
cheers jon

the coil isn't fused, power comes directly from the ignition switch
