These are really nice shots. I was just wondering what is the use of an adjustable front strut/strut-crossbrace? Specially when it is welded where the diagonal bars meet/cross?

Hey Wally

How did the low profile tyres handle the drag race starts?

Not too bad actually: 13,823 at the 1/4 mile and 158 km/h

Wondering why the car looked so muddy?:

I was NOT a happy camper when this happenend early that same morning when we arrived and were looking for aspot on the 'official' track-side "camping"...
You can guess the look on the the faces of the tech-inspection when I arrived looking like that...
After a lot of scrubbing and cleaning, I was allowed to race, but got remarks from the track operators about dirty tires each time I arrived at the starting line

Zhe proof:

I am SO proud!

Well, considering the mud... very well. I did have good grip and got away quite well, but I really have little to compare it to. Track was rather sticky compared to DasDragDay in Bitburg.
If the upper part of the fuel and ignition map are afjusted properly on the dyno, I think I can do even a little better

The black bug with slicks did a low 12 here...:

They are made that way for adjustments to fit different SB's due to bodys not being exactly the same is my guess. Other wise you would have to fit in each car and then weld them. The other reason is because it looks COOL .
