Lightbulb wiring required for 944 rev counter

can anyone help?

One more thing...the tach from the '84 that I'm using is wired up as follows pin 4 GND
pin 5 +12
pin 6 coil -

Pin's 1-3 and H+, Hg not used

There you go, I tested it on my 914 and it works properly

on the back of my 944 rev counter i have three pins: +12, 1, -. +12 is ign live. 1 is coil negative. - is earth.

rev counter wiring

help still needed.

The Fasty is now ALIVE and running

i tried above wiring that i stated but rev counter does not work.

got hold of the 944 wiring diagram off pelican parts but still cannot work it out.

1303R yours sounds the easiest ! is that an early 944 one then ???

to be honest, bought the rev counter used, i do not know if the rev counter works, but do they fail ??

the one i have came out early dash type 944 and has a pointy glass cover, 924's of same age have same type to.
