17" Porsche
Hey all you VW-nuts!
I'm about to buy some Porsche wheels, 7,5"x17" up front and 9"x17" rear. My car is a 1303s (super beetle) with original front beam and original (lowered) springs. I have widened fenders, about 1,6inches up front and 3,2inches back rear. My quiz is: What kind of offset (ET) do I choose to fill my fenders all the way out, that included adaptors/spacers from standard VW-pattern to Porsche-pattern? As for tires I was thinking 205 and 245/255. BR -M- Last edited by MAGZ; January 21st 2003 at 03:15. |

For example, here is a car that has ET52 in front and ET47 in rear; note the use of spacers.

My last wheels were Revolution 7x15" (ET16) and 9x15" (ET19) together with 205/50 and 285/40. Didn't have any spacers with these. I'll just buy some wheels, if they don't fit I'm going to buy myself a Porsche :silly: |
