fiat wheels on a bug

hi,
i have a set of 17" rims i bought for a fiat punto and are 4x98 et 38. will these fit on a 1302s bug? they may even be 4x100 i'm not sure.

they are 4x98.. you'll have to have your hubs drilled to that pattern or get custom drilled hubs predrilled to it.

the offset is fine though, depending on rim width.. what is the width??

think they are 7.5 with 195 tyres

should be fine then if that is the width.. only issue you'll have to deal with is the centre spigot bore. the bearing caps on stock hubs wont fit inside the centre bore of the rim.. you'll have to either open up the wheel bore, or better still, machine down the snout of the hub to suit the rim.
