Watson street works wiring problems

I purchased a watson kit for my 72 ghia and am now regretting it.

I have many issues but I will only ask for help with one of them now. The kit seems to be geared more towards pre '72 year cars, mainly cars without the ignition switch in the column.

Here is my question. They say to run a wire from the fuse box to the column for "TURN SIGNAL SWITCH FEED". Where do I connect this wire??? The only wire I can possibly think off is "49a". Is this right? Or do the column switches already have power???

I'm so confused. I know some people have had great success with this kit and some hate it.

These are the standard designations for the terminals
hope it helps

And the stock wiring diagram

From Bosch Automotive Handbook, 3rd edition

Terminal Designations (Excerpts from DIN Standard 72 552)
The terminal designations do not identify the conductors, because device
with different terminal designations can be connected at the two ends of
each conductor. If the number of terminal designations is not
sufficient (multiple-contact connections), the terminals are
consecutively numbered using numbers or letters whose representations
of specific functions are not standardized.

Wow, thanks, It all is a little clearer now. Now I actually what those numbers mean.

With that in mind, Turn signal flasher feed is 49, which I dont have. All I have is 49a which is output to the indicator lights.

TURN SIGNAL FLASHER
49 Input
49a Output
49b Output, second turn-signal circuit
49c Output, third turn-signal circuit

It looks like the 49a is the output from the flasher to 49a on the column which get switched to R or L signal output to the lights. So that is the input on the column you are looking for:agree:
