Early 911 vs 944 (83-86) Hubs??

Can someone tell me if there`s a difference in these to hubs. And dimensionally an early 911 rotor is the same as the 944. Can the 911disc be used on the 944 hubs?? All the number seem to add up.
I know the Carrera SC is 24mm thick as opposed to 21mm,however the overall height is the same..(35.6mm??) The Carrera disc will allow the use of the Boxter front caliper.
If hubs are the same then Vehiclecraft has a 304mm by 32mm slotted front disc kits that will fit the narrow bodied 911, and therefore maybe 944 setups on a bug/bus ............. These discs use an offset alum hat. looks like it will all be with in the original 35.6mm?? height of the stock disc??
And these 911/ 930 kits supposedly fit the stock rims 15,16" fuchs>>>>

Food for thought.
Any views / knowledge is much appreciated.

Dean
