(Repost) G50/01 Teardown Info

Ended up having my G50 serviced/shortened by CMS. Here is the info I used to initially tear it down:

Removed the cover:


Air impact to remove the 40mm and 19mm?:


Removed gear and slider:


Used a Proto Puller after grinding off most of the arm material to fit under the gears:






See some worn/flat teeth on the thin black ring attached to the gear, but they don't appear to be broken?



Pulled the case off:




Main Gear assembly:


Removed the m8 nuts holding the assembly to the case:

Working on a long socket to remove the input shaft from the gear assembly:
