-and fit the hubs from a steel armed 924/44 or a 86? -are they the same thing they look it!! |

The extra track is cast in the ali arms. So the hub's wouldn't make a big difference. If the early hubs are shorter. Then you will have problems with e-brake shoes, and rotors lining up right.

ya correct
-the steel arm hubs dont work
-good new is that the 86 alloy arm is the same as the 87 alloy arm -the hubs are different -late is wider early is narrower -but does look like the steel armed ones -the splines are different -anyway -the hub shaft is the same 85/6 alloy arm -and 87 - alloy arm -i just done fit the early hub to some late arms, -cos i didn't need the bump stop face !!! |

and so
the 'majic'
comes from the 1985 only fine splined hub, which looks like the steel armed hub -but isn't -also the 1985 rear disc - if you check the listings, is a one year only affair, although the same diameter, the actual disc thickness is greater |

so
spring plate to wheel face is 220mm
=8 and 3/4 inches - easy get a 225 in then, maybe something bigger on a 53 et 10j?? 255??? -doubt it would fit |
