IRS race gearbox with Quaiffe ATB diff

Hi
Ive got a john maher racing IRS single side plate gearbox for sale. it has got installed a Quaiffe ATB active torque bias differential. it has a brand new NOS crack tested VW german 3.88 ring and pinion. a superbeetle main shaft, new syncros, steel shift forks, welded first and second, close ratio third and fourth, type2 output shafts.

ratios
3.88 rp
3.78 1st
2.06 2nd
1.58 3rd
1.12 4th

here are the gear ratio caculations for mph with a 195 60 R15 tyre

per 1000 revs = 17mph

so at
6000rpm your doing 100mph
7000rpm your doing 116mph
8000rpm your doing 133mph

with a bigger 'cal look' style tyre on the rear a 205 70 R15 the gearing is taller

per 1000 revs = 18mph

so at
6000rpm your doing 108mph
7000rpm your doing 126mph
8000rpm your doing 144mph

CALCULATIONS TAKEN FROM THE www.johnmaherracing.co.uk gear ratio calculator and tyre diameters taken from the yokohama website.
