Thanks for the great pics Wally. The rear wheels on the grey Super look huge Any more specs on the car ?

Your car looks fantastic as well ... I was never a fan of 'Supers' but yours is one of my favorites.

Thanks

Sandeep

Thanks Sandeep.
The grey car is from Franc (ww.carsche.nl) and is a '74 model. We know each other some 20 years I guess...
He has taken lightness very far as it has carbon bumpers and self made aluminium bumper brackets. The Wiechers cage is also aluminium.
Engine is a 2056cc type 4 and has some of my old parts in there (JE pistons, Webcam 86, type 1 followers). BAS exhaust and at the moment 40 IDF's. He plans to upgrade to EFI with a DTA E48 ecu soon
Tires are Toyo race-intermediate slicks IIRC. Very cool!
Wheels are BBS 16" , so not that big really ;-)

Wally, did you not like the Rabbit (Golf I) front spoiler any more or does this one work better? I like the addition of the rear fender guards, they look nice.

Yeah, I did like the Rabbit lip very much, but unfortunately, it did not really do much as an air dam. The Kamai front spoiler however works very very well. You can really feel the difference in front road holding. Its quit remarkable how well that works.
FYI, the Rabbit lip is still attached as well though. It kinda works as an air guide towards the oil cooler behind the aircon front apron (I think).

Yeah, I agree Super; His car actually follows the 'german-style' look much more than I have done

Here's a vid somebody shot of my car on the dyno that day!

Franc's got some new wheels (sorry for the large image) and made his own Kamai style air dam
