new to this, but was thinking of having my front wheels machined down an inch to 16 x 6 and fitting smaller tyres, what do you think?

O.K your new to this , but unless your having them narrowed ,i.e cut in half machined and then re welded ,how do you propose to machine an 1"off your rims, first off check your steering box, tie rods and try smaller tyre 195x45

Thanx for the reply - will check steering box and tie rods - also going to get some smaller tyres...
I should have said that a guy is going to cut the wheels in half, machine them and then re-weld them...
Cheers for the info.

Little bit of an update with 02, got the side vents cut out going for our carbon versions this time, also changed my mind on the ally 944 a arms, going early 944 steel with our uni ball+coil over set up, got that made and trial fitted with some old Konis for now............

Personally I believe that the early 944 arms are stronger than the later ones. Lee the project looks great. The carbon side vents will look great. Have you decided on the color?

They route air into the engine bay, allowing the fan to suck in more cold and fresh air.

Yeah, they give me a stiffy aswell. I had my car painted already early on in the project, otherwise I would have put them in also.I wanted to run carbon fiber pipes from the vents into the engine bay...

What are you thinking is the best solution to adhering the spoiler to the roof?
