cf headliner

i am looking for a cf headliner for my 74 and 72 supers. i read about one 2 or 3 years ago in volks world mag. but i loned it to a friend and he never returned it .does any body know where i can get one ? i tried ebay but all they show are for the H word i do not say you know h*nd@

I would think that a CF headliner is nothing more then a flat piece of CF
bent to fit the headliner area.

If you use CF in raw "cloth like" form (without epoxy gelcoat) you could "hang" it like a normal head liner... if you can sew it easily, to add loop's to slide the hanging rods through.

what i want to do is see how one looks before i build the plug and mold and make the part the one i read about was rigid

making the headliner from cf and epoxy, there is a high injury risk if it cracks...
as stated many times before, when the cf cracks it becomes tiny razor sharp pieces that cut through skin and most clothes

You got photoshop? Maybe take a pic of the inside of a bug, and photoshop a CF headliner in there.

i cant find any cf to make anything so i will probably go with silver cf also known as aluminized fiberglass 2x2 twill my cars are all silver anyways

yes beetle 1303 i have had plenty of cf splinters push through my hands and fingers its very painfull
