Koni Reds Bumpstops

I cut down the bumpstops of my Koni front shocks 'cause I put on dropped spindles.
However, my tires stick out the fenders so at full compression the front fender is hitting the tire.

Anybody know what these bumpstops are made off ? I'm thinking I'll make some new ones. I assume you can't buy just the bumpstops ?

You should not have needed to do anything to the bumpstops if you used dropped spindle since the attitude of the damper is the same with/without dropped spindles. If you need new bumpstops check out your Koni dealer or althernatively use polyurethane bumpstops from one of the main suppliers - Superflex, Powerflex etc

Thanks Clive.
I'm running dropped spindles and an adjustable beam (belt and suspenders )
The really funny thing is that I'm probably close to stock height by now because of the way I set it up...

Anyways, the Koni shocks are pretty old, I bought them used, so I decided to pony up and ordered a set of KYB's.....

Rob.
