Anyway, just for the record, that kit also includes a rear bumper cover. BTW my front cover does NOT have the "Sport GT" letters, so it may be a little less ricey (if any).
I really don't think it'll hurt aerodynamics, but it probably won't help either
Where did you get your bumper covers? I like the look but dont like the sportGT script on the front. I may have to order them over the phone in mexico and have them sent to AZ

Got them from a local accesory shop. They are made by automagic.
http://www.auto-magic.com.mx/ (in spanish) Probably memo imports sells them there, they have lots of stuff from the mexican market

However I'm removing them soon, it's fiberglass, and didnt resist a crash

There's a similar one made by airdesign, aka erebuni, which is much better quality (although I dont like the look). It's made out of urethane

Nice, thanks.

I also like the auto-magic one better. I would just need to fabricate a spoiler to go along with it.

Carbon Joe,
I would also be interested in your CF/Kevlar bumber set, if it's happening. I have a 65 body that I'm working with, but as long as I can get them mounted...
My fenders will be 2, or 3" wider than stock.

Wow that looks good, do you have any more pics? Thats a super right?

I have decided to cut my Kamei and use a plastic welding kit to use the scrap and make mounts on the backside so I can run it with no bumpers, mounting it right to the car. Good thing i got it cheap...JR

I had wondered what a VW Funcup front spoiler would look like on a road car, then I found these pics:

I think it's a little OTT for a road car.

Apologies if these pics are a repost...

i'm sure that fun cup spoiler wouldn't look as bad if done right, car jus seams too much of a mix of styles.

here's my car, spoiler looks like it's based on a early 911. i'm using the big hole for a radiator, not fitted in this pic.

I think that looks very well indeed. Matching almost perfectly to the super body!
