Does anyone know if it's possible?

Would it be possible to adapt this to a 1303 dash?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...957654640&rd=1

And the next question. Yes, I know ANYTHING is possible, but is it worth the trouble?
How EASY would it be?
I'm not lazy, but I'm no engineer either.

The 1303 dash is metal underneath so you could adapt almost anything and then have it recovered.

What about the electronics part of it?
I have no doubt I could figure a way to makit fit, but what problems would I have adapting the guages to the 1303 w/ a stock engine?

A friend of mine has a 126 series merc and the oil gauges are mechanical, and the speedo drives from the transmission. the tacho is from the 15 terminal of the coil though. from what i know instruments light in yellow.... and the tacho is up to 6k rpm... i dont know if thats enough for you, but its not for me...

Personal thought is that i wouldnt go for it. to merc style for me...

it said the bidding has ended for that item....did you buy it?

Well....it looks do-able, and the thing is...you could always change out the gauges if you have too many problems with them!
