I have always been told that Type 4's don't like the 48's or IDA's. But I'm no expert. 2.7 is LARGE. I would post the ? here

45's most definately; you'll get better throttle response, fuel economy, and smoother progressions through the throttle range. And they're cheaper, no?

Yes!, they are far more cheaper (250 dollar), and that is the reason I am asking. I even was tempted by some 48 Dells Trijet, but instead I feel I can use that extra money for a Mallory distributor, a narrowed beam, or dropped spindles.
I already tried STF, but the typical response is "it is all in the combo" (duh). Wich is certainly true, but I think that we all look for more direct responses, sharing the experience of the members. Obviously, you must assume the risk deciding how to use what was told. Both forums have been very valuable, the have tons af good stuff. I will let you know how many ponies I get (goal is 180, no turbo in a city at 7500 feet high) Thanks
