924s usability, answers please

I found a 924s that is being parted out and am wondering if I shoud try to get them. I have read that they are the same as the early 944. Since I am on a low budget will the early style work well enough?

Should I try to get anything else?? What all do I need to ask for?

1. Front and rear rotors
2. Front and rear calipers
3. front spindles
4. e-brake cable
5. ??????

Thanks,

Hi Drew, the 86-88 924S is basically the exact same brakes as the 83-86 944 with the exception that there is no speedometer hole in the spindle.

The 924S uses ally rear trailing arms, not steel like the early 944.

seats,
steering wheel,
gauges,
road wheels,
mirrors??
badges??

if it's got a good uncracked rubber dash you could make a few bucks selling it to a 924 owner (good ones are apparently hard to get)
