Amazingly Beautiful 75' Sunroof Super - $6700.OBO

Please check out my ad:

I have dreaded this moment, but it has to be done. You are looking at a great example of the VW Super Bug in it's prime.
In order to fund my Type 3 project this car ("Bella") has to find another owner.
Throw on different rims, tint the windows and Go German!

Too Many extras to list, but I will try.
-This year was a "SunBug" Model w/sunroof and exculsive rims.
-The pictures do not show it but the paint is a Gold Fleck with a Deep Cherry Red over it. Everyone who sees it comments on how stunningly beautiful it looks.
-All Numbers Match
-FI 1600 with preppy compression, runs great!
-Total Restore was done 6 years ago. Everything thoughly gone over, all new seals, windshild, ect.
-Entire car finished with high-end soundproofing
-Bullit Running Boards
-Trunk and Engine Light, as well as extra foot lights, added.
-Electric pump added for windshield wiper fluid
-Mcpherson strut support in trunk
-Fiberglass Innovations Speaker mounts in front, and as rear shelf - Nice speakers!
-All 5 rims painted Porshe grey (Matching roofrack avail.as well)
-Always stored inside.
-Full bra thrown in as well.
-More details, pics upon email or call.

Sure does look nice.

Technically, it's not a Sun Bug as Sun Bugs were 1974-only. Since it is a 1975, it is a La Grande. Not that it makes much difference given how far removed it is from stock. I only mention it since your ad mentions it.

If it were for sale this time last year before I bought my '71, I might have booked a flight to see it. It does have GL potential.

O -

Thanks for the correction. For some reason I was thinking that the LeGrand and Sun Bug were the same.
Do you think that the price range is good? It is so hard to be objective when you've spent so many hours on it!
Ya - If I were to keep it I think I'd jazz it up a bit to be GL

Thanks

Ha, they essentially are the same -- same girl, different lipstick. Actually, La Grande has rack and pinion steering (big plus), but that's a '75 v. '74 thing and has nothing to do with the special edition differences.

The biggest difference was Sun Bugs came as Super sedans, standard sedans, and convertibles; La Grandes were Super sedans only.

If you can afford to be patient enough to find the right buyer, then yes. (I have not looked at the link, but I thought I read you had lowered the price as well. It may behoove you to take the price out of the title. Let your potential customers salivate at the pictures, then see the price.)

I bet!

Good luck -- wish I were in the market.
