Standard-944 swap

Am I just overlooking it or is there no info on a swap for a balljoint front? I would like to go with a single pot setup all around (thats what I have around). So please point me in the right direction..Thank you JR

You know, I looked alittle more and I guess I would only need the hub and any machine work to the spindles, and thats not too bad. Anyone eles interested in this? JR

I have early 944 brakes on my balljoint front end. All you need is some spacers to fit the hub bearings and seal to the VW spindle. Mounting the caliper will take some measuring and fabrication but not a big deal. I did mine on CB dropped disk brake spindles. I think it would be easier to mount the 944 calipers on drum brake spindles. There are a couple of pics of my set up in the brake gallery, first page at the bottom. It's the spindle with the caliper mounted low.
