Anyone using wheel adapters temporarily?
Curious. For $$$ reasons, I may need to run Wide-5 to 5x130 wheel adaptors for about 6 months.
Anyone see any major issues with this? I tested fited everything and things "look" good. I do drive hard, and the car may see an occasional auto-x or track event. Comment welcome, thanks -Paul |

Good question.
I can say with authority that the EMPI ones suck a$$! Do not get these. I have heard that some good ones are being made in Germany but have no idea who sells them. Also get metal and not aluminum ones. ... I am contemplating the same thing until my motor gets done. Anyone have a good resource for metal adaptors?

I already have the set, as I used them to check the look I was after.
I picked up whatever "Latest Rage" in HotVWs sells. The 5x130 stud pattern was SPOT-ON. And the Wide-5 was also good. These do have a Taiwan sticket on the back. Also the thread is SAE instead of Metric...Hmmm. -Paul P.S. What is the deal on your 911 that is for sale?????? you can email me privately on that if you want. |

I'm using a set from Wolfgang. Thick steel (heavy). Don't see how you could possibly hurt them but they add weight where you don't want it, but like you said...it's a temporary fix until I get the meats I want.
