Stripping/Painting 944 Turbo Calipers
Hi,
I have a set of 944T Brembo twin spots with good seals. Whats the best way to remove the black paint to repaint them? Should I blast them with garnet, or something similar, paint strip them, etc etc. Is there any special type of caliper paint I should use as well? Thanks Steve |

Matara,
The calipers are hard anodized and then clear coated. The clear coat comes off easy with chemical stripper. The anodizing accepts paint or powder coat easily. Use one of the "two part" caliper paint kits.

Thats looking good Bullyboy. Lots of detail. Your gonna have to drive that thing on two wheels all the time so everybody can see the under side .
