my car is FAT!

weighed the car last night. came in at 2140 LBS (just the car). just filled the tank about 50ft away. so with me in it, it's tipping the scales at 2370LBS.

even if i Carbon Fibre half the steel on the car, it will still be a heavyweight.
so this further convinces me to get a early standard bug.

on a 1/4 tank in the 1/8th mile i ran 8.9 @ 80 with a 2.1 60ft (185 tire).

Sandeep, I weighed my 1302 at the local dump when I first got it.

I drove in, turned around and then drove on the scale.
Once on the scale, I got out of the car to see what it weighed.

It tipped the scales at 1970lbs!

Hopefully I can get that down below 1900lbs...

was that with you in it?

Sandeep,

just north of 401 on dixie on the west side there are public truck scales. just drive up and the guy inside will tell you. if you want a "printed document" i think he charges a couple bucks.

i ran the car in north carolina about 1/2 years ago at the IVWA world championships. i was the only street car with plates. all the rest were race cars.

later,
pete
