how hard is it? (GT3!!!!!!)

"GT3 Brake Kit - Complete factory original brake kit includes: front & rear red brake calipers, 13" rotors, OEM brake pads (Pagid Brake Pads available at an additional cost), wheel carriers, hubs, shims, adapters and all hardware necessary for installation on your 996. $3,995.00. -Call for details- For 2 and 4 wheel drive cars, 996 or Boxster.."

I found this on a site on the net I was wodering how hard is would be to modify this kit and mount it on a super beetle.
also, what size wheels and spacers would I need if i decided to do this?

That would be cool to see but......... Do you really need 'em. That's alot of $$$$ for stopping power that you really don't need.

They might cost less now but the Remmel 993 kit (it has nothing from Kerscher) comes with the frotn hub and the caliper brackets ready to bolt on. No machining or guess work.

I got 993 rotors and calipers off Ebay with 20K on 'em, new MBT adapters, hubs, e brake adapts. and master cyl adapts. and 944 rear hubs for less than that and that's enough braking. All I was saying was if you can get GT3 brakes for that price, reg. 996 or 993 brakes might be cheaper. Remember, you aren't stopping a heavier 3.8L Porsche. Just trying to save you $$$$$$. I wouldn't have bought 993 brakes, but I got 'em used. I just don't need that kind of braking and I'll be pushing 250++ HP on the street. Also.... don't forget that the bigger brake rotor the more the unsprung weight. It would be cool to see though.
