Question Rear stabilizer bar

I want to get a thicker/stiffer rear stab bar for my racer. Im currently running a 19mm from CSP but it is not enough for my driving style.

Currently im trying to get the racing bar from aircooled.net but it has been on backorder for 4 months now. and they dont know when they get it in again.
Anybody want to sell me a used item?

Time is running out on me to get all parts in place for next season, so what are my options??

Is there any stabilizers from other cars that can be used with modifications?
What have been tryed with succsess??

I can fabricate almost anything by myself of what is needed of brackets and fastenings but i need something to work from...

Any help on this issue is highly appriciated!

I use a Tarot racing hollow 22 adjustable swaybar (porsche 944 unit) with Porsche 944 adjustable spring plates, the dimentions work great.
You will have to make mounts but thats easy with some rectangular steel tube and some creativity (I recomend mock up with the suspention loaded BTW)
It's very nice, but not cheap (looking at $400-$550)
you can get them from http://www.elephantracing.com/

Although in the picture it shows silver arms, you can chose from red or silver. I got the all red ones.

Sendt a request to whiteline a couple of days ago by mail, but no reply?

If i cant get the whiteline part im going for 944 part and custom fit it.
The elephant thing looked awsome but at that$$$ its no option this year.

Hi

Most businesses down here close until the 14th January, or they may be open and are snowed under, bad choice of words as its summer here.

Hi

I just spoke to them, they are looking into why you had response, I felt a bit silly that I didn't know your real name.

In meantime can you send me a PM here or email to webmaster@clubvw.org.au with your real name, contact details and what you wanted to order and I will call them again with more info.
